Ferrari F40 - The Ultimate Fast Car

The Ferrari F40 engine was designed by Pininfarina and built by Maranello.

It was the first V12 engine ever produced by Ferrari.

Its design was based on the Lamborghini Countach's engine.

The engine had a displacement of 4.0 liters (1,272 cc) and produced around 575 hp at 8,000 rpm.

The engine was mated to a 6-speed manual trnsmission.

The transmission was a transaxle, which was a type of gearbox that was shared between the front and rear wheels.

The transaxle was connected to the engine using a driveshaft.

A transaxle uses two countershafts instead of one.
