Nissan GTR Review – World’s Most Powerful Sports Car

The Nissan GT-R is a sports car manufactured by Japanese automaker Nissan.

It was first introduced at the 1995 Tokyo Motor Show.

The name GT-R stands for Gran Turismo Riken (Japanese for “Toyota Racing Development”).

The GT-R is based on the platform of the second generation Nissan Skyline, which debuted in 1990.

The GT-R uses a twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 545 hp (400 kW; 540 PS) and 627 lb·ft (850 Nm) of torque.

The engine is mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.

In Japan, the GT-R is only offered with the latter.

The GT-R accelerates from 0–60 mph (97 km/h) in 4.0 seconds and reaches a top speed of 200 mph (322 km/h).
